STEP 3: 2014 Action Plan

Hi Heather!
Great checklist!
The ones that stood out the most to me were #4, and #6.
It takes a lot of discipline to turn off your smart phone. I’ve made a habit of doing this while I’m working in short bursts and I’ve also made a habit of turning off my phone during conferences as well. I look at it as a way of eliminating distractions. This way, I don’t have to worry about the phone going off, and I can focus on the task that I am completing for that day.
I like what you said about being honest with yourself. Often times, we’re not honest with ourselves. The problem with us human beings is that we just don’t decide and take action. We will never get out of our comfort zone unless we challenge ourselves.
Awesome all around post!

You have really laid out a great action plan. Now I need to find the time to do it. I should add that to a step!
Sorry to hear about the hacking.

Rochelle – I’ve had a one page action plan framed by desk since 2008. I also have to find the time to create my 2014 Action Plan, Print it and Replace it in the frame.
The hacking wasn’t fun but it did teach me a lesson and hopefully my post will help a some one avoid the pain themselves.
