This Week’s Ignite Your Market Challenge: Quiet Your Mind and Connect with Your Why
Last week, I had a great catch up conversation with a colleague/friend over coffee. We talked about life and our businesses and our conversation lead to “our whys”. I thought I knew my Why but as we discussed it I realized that my Why is changing and that I had some limiting believes that were holding me back from really embracing my Why and my potential. I realized that I need to reconnect with my Why.
When was the last time you told a quiet moment and thought about your Why? Your Why being “why are you in business?” There are at least 2 parts to your Why – the first is what service you are called to do for others. The second is what you need this work/business to provide for you to support your dreams and your future.
I’ve learned that if you aren’t focus on the second one, what you need your business to provide for you, you won’t be around to do the first one, serve others with your passion.
So what is your Why? Do know both parts of it? When was the last time you took a quiet moment and reconnected with it?
