Have you reviewed your website lately? Are you wondering what you can do to your website to improve it’s performance?
Yes, performance not necessarily the way it looks. You could have an amazing looking website but if no one is coming to it then what is the point?
On the other hand I’ve visited many websites that don’t look so good but they rank high, get traffic and make sales. That’s performance.
Like many things what makes a website “hot” is a moving target but there are some key elements that you need to focus on. One of my favorite blogs to follow is Quick Sprout. Neil Patel provide top quality information and advice for businesses in actionable steps.
I love his blog post and infographic “The 10 Key Elements of A High Quality Website”
The blog support the direction that SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is moving. Where emphasis is being put on providing engaging and quality content – “The goal is to make your website so great that people would want to come back and buy from you.”
I’m in the process of review my websites and I will definitely using The Quick Sprout infographic below as a guide.
How many of the 10 elements are you focused on? Which one(s) do you need to work on?
