Today is normally Five Minute Friday Blog Challenge started by Lisa-Jo Baker. Every Friday she’s post a topic then hundreds of people blog for five minutes on the topic and support each other. I’m guessing that Lisa-Jo is enjoying her Thanksgiving holiday as she hasn’t posted a new topic. As it is a fun way to end the week I’ve create my own word.
Momentum – Have you noticed that as soon as you have one success in your business it leads to another? How one idea seems to open the flood gates and more ideas come flowing out. How when you finally get started on a task you’ve been putting off it seems to get done quickly and helps unblock others.
One of the definitions of Momentum is “the impetus and driving force gained by the development of a process or course of events”.
In the past two month I’ve experience the momentum of committing to blogging every day. I’ve been challenged in a positive way, I’ve learn so much from other bloggers, and as a bonus I’ve made some new friends. It kick started my creativity is so many ways that I’m starting several new programs in 2014 and created new partnerships. I’m excited about the possibilities.
I’d like thank Beth Hewitt of The Simple Blogging Network for her 30 day challenge in November, it has been great and the quality of blogger is inspiring.
How do you create momentum in your business? How does it make you feel?

Momentum is a wonderful thing, Heather. Many people fear challenges but I find, once your head is in production mode, you see post ideas everywhere! As you gain momentum, the energy floods over into other aspects of your business too!
Heather says
Agnes – that is right, the energy does flow over into other parts of your life and in how you feel about yourself and your business. It creates opportunities.

Yes, I agree with all that you have said here. I did the first challenge in July. My posts were very simple when I started and I was so self conscious about my writing. Being challenged to post everyday and receiving much encouragement from other blogger’s comments has been so positive and I’ve made some great cyber friends along the way. I don’t post everyday, but I launched a Facebook page, joined twitter, created several videos for my blog and well I guess the “impetus and driving force gained by the development of regular blogging” is terrific!
Happy blogging!

Thanks Barbara, I’ve look at your page a few times now. I learning to cook gluten free for my father and niece. That the cool part, I won’t have found you blog if it hadn’t been for a challenge. We are in different business/places but we can still help each other. Happy blogging to you as well. I’ll be stopping by your site often for ideas.
