Great post and reminders – it is that time of the year to get ready by looking at what we’ve done, need to do, want to do and get into excitement mode!

Hi Heather,
Thanks for sharing this and yes it is a great idea to reflect on the past year as a way to make next year better. By knowing what works and what does not then you can revamp your plans to not make mistakes you have made in the past and put emphasis on things that are effective.
Heather Cameron says
Jason, so true. I’d add that it also allows you to let go of something that isn’t working in your business. A good business decision can be “retiring” a program or product for whatever reason. It is ok to let go of things.

Thanks for this great suggestion. I am going to take stock of 2013!

I agree that it is important to look back, knowing that “success leaves clues.” Doing so allows us to make important adjustments toward an even better year to come.
Heather Cameron says
Joyce: I love the statement “success leaves clues”, so true. If we don’t look we’ll never be able to adjust and improve.

Katie, thanks for stopping by. You are right they can be applied to life in general. It is a good habit to take stock of things once in a while.
